As natives of South Africa, our family firmly lives by “ubuntu,” an African concept that means “I am because we are.” To us, the concept of ubuntu is a way of living - and a way of farming. It guides how we understand family, our community and our environment.
We believe that just as individuals reach their fullest potential in the company of others, so do we depend on our natural environment to thrive.
Our farming practices are grounded in principles of mutualism, continuous replenishing, and sustainability. We find joy in new technology and techniques that allow us to give back to the earth while providing healthy and delicious food to our community.
