Faxon Language Immersion Academy

Faxon Language Immersion Academy is a public school academy authorized by Grand Valley State University designed to provide a unique educational opportunity for children in grades K-6, building to K-8.

Our vision is to prepare students to communicate and participate in a global society. Similar in design to the acclaimed International School, we provide children the opportunity to share in the wonder of other cultures through a foreign language immersion program.

Although English is the common denominator, students are also immersed in the study of either Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. Our faculty is made up of teachers who are state certified. In addition to certification, the majority of our foreign language faculty is made up of native speakers in the language they teach.
