This page is to get to know the ministry & mission of Fay Road Baptist Church in the Westvale neighborhood of Syracuse, NY.
Our congregation holds weekly services at 11 am Sunday mornings (September thru June) and at 7 pm Wednesday nights (July & August).
We share our building with Syracuse Chin Christian Church.
We work closely with St. Camillus health facility (also on Fay Rd) providing musical entertainments, helpers for activities, and donations of soft tissues for the residents. We are also an active supporter of Westside Ministries Food Pantry, adopting a "food of the month" and continually giving much-needed fruits & vegetables so they may meet state quotas for those items.
Our pastoral partner in ministry, Rev. Suzi Harriff is a World Mission Pastor who has worked extensively in Rwanda.
Our congregation is focused on mission giving and action through our annual support of various ABC missions and assistance with community organizations in Onondaga County such as In My Father's Kitchen, the Center for New Americans at InterFaith Works, and Mothers & Children in Crisis.
Our congregation began as Delaware Baptist Church on the West side of Syracuse and moved in 2005 to Westvale. Delaware Baptist was founded in 1889. Every year, we celebrate our church's birthday on March 6.
