Fayetteville's Zombie Run

The Fayetteville Running Club and The City of Fayetteville Police Department invite you to attempt to survive the outbreak that has ravished the downtown area. The dead have escaped some of the city's oldest cemeteries and are spreading their infectious, generations old disease. You will start near the historic and abandoned Prince Charles Hotel and make your way through the city attempting to preserve your life flags as the zombie hordes try to take them from you. There will be aid stations along the course to revive you once you've proven to the medical staff you haven't been infected. Once they've established you are healthy you will continue on the course and return to the safety of Hay Street inside the secured zone and proceed to the finish line where the first 400 finisher's with both life flags will receive a medal.

This event will benefit the Fayetteville Running Club and its financial support of local youth running programs as well as fulfilling our mission to promote running as part of a healthy lifestyle in our community. In addition a portion of the proceeds will go to The United Way of Cumberland County which financially supports other local non-profits such as the Better Health Foundation, the YMCA of the Sandhills, Habitat for Humanity, and the Rape Crisis Center. Every dollar generated at this event will stay in the local community to help improve the quality of life for all of our citizens.
