Lexington Kali of Kentucky is headed up by Guro Ernie Lake and is the ONLY certified Kali/Arnis/Escrima instructor in the Lexington KY area.

Guro Ernie Lake has been involved with the martial arts for over 20 years. He has studied a wide variety of arts and has incorporated Muay Thai, BJJ, Shooto, Combat Submission Wrestling, Wing Chun Gung Fu, Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do Concepts, as well as the Filipino martial arts into his training.

Since 1996 he has been coaching / instructing in the Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, and Jun Fan Gung Fu.

Guro Lake is the only certified Instructor under the Legendary Magulang Na Guro Dan Inosanto in the Central Kentucky area.

Guro Lake began training with Tuhon Ray Dionaldo in the summer of 2002. Since then he has been honored to become the first Certified Instructor of FCS Kali in Kentucky as well as being named the Northeastern Regional Director for FCS Kali in North America.

Guro/Sifu Lake has gone on to accomplish the following:

· Guro in Filipino Combat Systems (FCS) under Tuhon Ray Dionaldo.
· Appointed Northeastern United States Regional Director for FCS Kali.
· Instructor in Inosanto/Lacoste Kali under Guro Dan Inosanto.
· Instructor in Jeet Kune Do Concepts & Jun Fan Gung Fu under Sifu Dan Inosanto.
· Instructor in Maphilindo Silat under Guru Dan Inosanto.
· Head Muay Thai Instructor for 4 Seasons Fight Team in Lexington KY.
· Assistant MMA Coach for 4 Seasons Fight Team in Lexington KY.
