WE EXIST TO BRING PEOPLE INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD (JOHN 1:1-4) THROUGH THE GREAT COMMISSION (MATTHEW 28:19-20)
At Fellowship Bible Church, everything we do comes back to knowing God and fellowshipping with Him and with one another.
What is “Fellowship”?
Fellowship goes far beyond the mere commonality of social community. Fellowship is the love and worship filled relationship that believers have with the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It’s also the relationship believers have with each other as a result.
How Do We Fellowship?
At FBC, we fellowship in several different ways. Here’s what you’ll see on a Sunday.
Gathering
Every Sunday we gather together as the Church to worship the Living God together as His people. We greet one another, we pray for one another, we love one another. In short, we fellowship with one another.
Worship Through Song
God’s people have always been a singing people. We worship God through singing songs that call us to praise, exalt God and glorify Him, and proclaim His character. These songs vary from traditional to contemporary, but they are full of the truth of God’s Word, which is central to worshipping God rightly.
The Word
God’s Word is the only true way to know Him. Every Sunday, God’s Word is taught and proclaimed without reservation at FBC. Through hearing His living Word, we are transformed by the Holy Spirit into the image of Christ to the glory of the Father. We become involved in the Triune God’s work and we fellowship with Him.
Scattering
After our time of gathering and fellowship, we scatter back into the community to bring others into fellowship with God through proclaiming the Gospel and living holy lives that glorify God.
