Dr. Deana grew up in the small town of Sweetwater, TN. Moving on to get her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, she graduated from The University of Tennessee – Knoxville. In Marietta, GA, she continued with her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University.
She is certified in Fascial Abrasion Technique (FAT), using tools to mobilize the fascia in order to increase range of motion and decrease scar tissue. Other certifications include auriculotherapy, a technique which stimulates the external part of the ear in order to alleviate health conditions in other aspects of the body.
She enjoys hiking in the mountains and spending time reading books from her library. She loves to listen to music and learn new things. Her newest love is enjoying bicycling on the Va Beach Boardwalk.
