Fire Relief Foundation

After speaking with someone else whose family was affected by a fire, Emily Stevers and her husband Chad decided to start an official support network. They have helped other fire victims since their own loss on June 10th, 2013. However, we know that there are many more who don't know where to begin when fire strikes. Tragedy does not come with a manual.

Many times victims of fire are preyed upon by companies who say they are there to help but often have other motives. Through this effort, we hope to make people aware that helpful, honest people are out there to help get them through this at no cost to them. The organization is in the beginning stages. Emily gladly volunteers her time to help with inventory and other fire related tasks which can be emotionally and financially draining. Chad and Emily have a great amount of knowledge and can help guide fire survivors through the steps for filing inventory. The organization also collects items needed for people as requests come in.

The organization recently formed an official board of directors and is working on filing as a 501 (c) 3 charity with the IRS. Stay tuned as we grow this much needed organization.
