More about Firebird Farm Antiques

Firebird Farm Antiques is owned by Brian and Stephanie Fischer. The shop is located in their 1850′s period post and beam barn (ask to see the marriage marks on the hand hewn beams!). Situated at 46 North River Road in Lee, New Hampshire they are centrally located in the heart of Strafford County. A short drive from the New Hampshire seacoast or approximately 75 minutes from the greater Boston area, it is easy to find!

Brian and Stephanie both developed an early love for antiques. Brian, originally from Livonia, NY, started as a boy digging bottles, then collecting arrowheads and almost anything else he could find which caught his eye. Stamps and coins were next on his list which eventually lead to searching antique shops and shows, flea markets, country sales and auctions for more interesting items, such as vintage musical instruments, wonderful advertising pieces, whimsical Americana items, and pottery, to name a few. Stephanie was born in Concord, MA and thinks she caught the antique bug being so close to the start of the American Revolution! As a child she lived in Boxborough across the street from one of the oldest antique houses in town. The elderly couple that lived there always invited her mother and Steph over and introduced them to the art of ‘nice antiques’. Searching antique stores and sales was a early pastime mother and daughter shared always trying to find a prize!

Fast forward to the late 1980′s when Brian met Stephanie and a collective passion and drive for hunting down great stuff skyrocketed! Today that cumulative love is shown in their wonderful and eclectic antique shop. After many years of setting up in some of the great group shops in NH, they decided to open their own shop in 2008. Impossible to sum up in a few words we invite you to check out our website or come visit us and see what we have to offer.
