Firefighters face a multitude of obstacles when called to an emergency scene; for example, their team membership, their jobs and goals, and their circumstances change constantly. However, despite less than ideal team circumstances, they are able to form high-functioning teams at a moment's notice to handle unpredictable and dangerous situations. Our mission is to share the unique perspectives, skills, and cooperative strategies utilized by firefighters during emergencies.
This training was developed by two veteran firefighters and a cognitive psychologist. As such, it incorporates two distinct views of teamwork. It is designed to expand and reinforce the cooperative strategies of existing groups, as well as individuals. Everyone who participates in this training will develop knowledge and skills that will inform and improve their approach to any group effort. Contact us today if you would like to know more about the experience or to schedule a training session for your group.
