First Baptist Church Eclectic

First Baptist Church of Eclectic is not a building; it is an eclectic group of people who have come together as the body of Christ for several reasons. Ultimately, we are here to bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. We come from all walks of life, but we have one great thing in common – we have been brought to life by a loving Savior.
As a people who are alive in Christ, we seek to bring Him glory through worshipping Him, for He is worthy of all glory, honor, and power. We start our worship by singing heartfelt praises to Him, but true worship goes much farther than what we do on Sunday mornings. Worship is not merely singing; it’s a lifestyle of obedience to Christ.
We worship Christ by ministering to others, serving one another (and serving with one another), learning His ways (so that we can better follow Him), and sharing the message of redemption with those who do not know Him.
FBC Eclectic is a great family of faith. If you’re new to the area, I invite and encourage you to stop by and visit us. I don’t think you’ll be sorry you did. One thing our guests consistently say is that we are a friendly, warm, inviting church. That’s because our people are genuine, quality people; we know that we all put our pants on one leg at a time, that at one time, we were all lost in sin, and that we have been graciously spared the wrath of God. We’re just a bunch of sinners, saved by grace.
As a church, we seek to work with others in achieving God’s work on earth. We firmly believe that together, we can accomplish more than any one group can do alone. We participate in numerous community events, activities, and ministries with other churches, and are in association with the Elmore Baptist Association, Alabama Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
