Christ Centered Focus and Commitment
• Jesus Christ is always to be our focus, foundation and the head over each person, home and this church.
(1 Corinthians 3:11; Philippians 2:9-10)
• We preach and endeavor to practice wholehearted commitment to Christ in our daily walk and service, by His grace and power.
(Romans 12:1,2; 2 Corinthians 12:9,10)
• We desire to display the fruit and power of the Holy Spirit in our actions, speech, attitudes and service.
(Matthew 22:37-40, 6:24, Romans 12:1-2, Colossians 3:23-24, Philippians 4:3, Galatians 5:13-25)
Biblically-based
• Doctrine and practice is solely from divinely inspired Scriptures of the Holy Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
• We emphasize personal study and prayer time, or "Quiet Time." (Mark 1: 35-39)
• Biblical preaching is verse by verse for daily living. (2 Timothy 4:1-4)
• The Bible is used with each age group for Sunday School, AWANA, Youth and Adults.
Prayer Oriented
• We emphasize each believer having an active prayer life. (Colossians 4:2-4)
Family Togetherness, Love and Caring
• We encourage caring through "Care Teams" by the adult Sunday School Classes, and Bible Study Groups. (Romans 12:9-21)
Balanced Worship and Music
• We have blended contemporary worship with a variety of music styles. We enjoy the classic hymns and today's praise songs. (Ephesians 5:19,20)
Great Commission Vision (Matthew 28:18-20)
• The Great Commission commands believers to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
• We believe that every Christian can become a reproducing disciple. We provide training to equip believers in personal evangelism and discipleship.
• We see our local community as the "Jerusalem" while sending missionaries into the "Judea, Samaria and uttermost parts of the World."
Every Believer Ministering
• We encourage each person to utilize their spiritual gifts within this local body of believers, by the power of the Holy Spirit and for God's glory. (1 Peter 4:10-11)
Solution To Sin Is Forgiveness
• The unbeliever receives forgiveness of all sin by faith in Christ as one's Savior. (Ephesians 1:7)
• For the believer, Biblical restoration to fellowship with God and others is be repentant confession of sin.
(1 John 1:9; Luke 17:3,4; Matthew 18:15-17)
Faithful Financial Stewardship (2 Corinthians 8, 9; 1 Corinthians 16:1,2)
• We provide Biblical teaching and encourage "Grace Giving" with the Tithe being a beginning point.
• We endeavor to provide Biblical teaching on giving, but without constant pleas for money.
• Financial record-keeping with accountability is stressed with our budget and financial reports, which are always posted and available to the membership.
Biblical Roles Between Leadership and Congregation
• The Pastoral Staff, as Spiritual Leaders, have their roles based on 1 Timothy 3:1-13, 1 Thessalonians 2:2-11;Ephesians 4:11-14.
• Lay Leadership roles and responsibilities are based on 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-14 and 1 Peter 5:1-5.
• The Congregation is to respond to the Lord, Pastor and lay leadership with love and service "being diligent to maintain the unity of the spirit
