Dear Parents: Relax! God put the wiggle in your children; you don’t need to try to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome. Go ahead and sit where you like, let your kids see what is going on. You may quietly explain what they are seeing. Kids learn about church by copying you. If you feel like you need to leave the service, please know we’d love to have you come back. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.” Let your kids know they are welcome in this house of worship.

Come as you are: The attire at our church is casual. There are plenty of people who enjoy bringing themselves to church in “Sunday Best” because they want to bring themselves to God as a living sacrifice and give Him their all. However, there are also plenty of people coming in comfortable clothes that feel like a second skin. This helps them feel at home and relaxed in God’s sanctuary. The point is- Just bring you! You’re the one God loves and wants to talk with and fill with joy. It doesn’t matter how you’re dressed.
