">On May 10, 1938 in the home of Mrs. Sarah Nalls, First Baptist Mohawk Church was founded under the leadership of Rev. Samuel Lawson (now known as 31st Place North). In 1944 a lot was purchased at 3703 E 31st St N to build the 1st sanctuary. In 1951, under the leadership of Rev. A.R. Woodfork the current sanctuary was built. Many things have been accomplished by the congregation since its founding. On June 4, 2006 Rev. Emanuel L. Collier Sr. was called to preach as the 11th Pastor. We are active locally and operate within the Creek District Baptist Association and the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention.
