First Choice Services

First Choice is a resource and support tool for early learning professionals, both in a childcare center and in home setting. It is our goal to aim for safety and enhance early education in young children. Our organization implements training and education according to rules and regulations mandated by the state of Ohio. First Choice also integrates evidence-based practices that are up to date, from experience, and from observations as it relates to child growth & development. While the curriculum in each course will vary, the encompassed goal is to equip early learning professionals with the tools to positively and consistently contribute to each child’s developmental progress in a healthy manner.

First Choice is recommended by organizations that have been supporting learning in children and functioning as advocates for the enhancement of training tools for the early learning population. These organizations include the ODJFS Childcare Licensing, OCCRRA & OPDN, to name a few.

Our instructors have combined over 50 years of experience in the early learning setting. Their experience includes literature-based, as well as hands-on application with young children, adults, and teachers in multiple settings including childcare, early learning, and much more. First Choice takes pride in educating and mentoring adult learners in the community.
