First Christian Church Noblesville

My prayer for First Christian Church is to see it become a congregation who views itself as the body of Christ on earth and who seeks to pattern both its corporate and individual lives after Christ. Each person possesses natural abilities and spiritual gifts that were given to them by God to be used in His service. It is the goal of the church to help each individual use those gifts and abilities to serve God, bring salvation to the lost and live out their life’s purposes. Our purposes as individuals and as the church universal are derived from the Great Commandment and The Great Commission.

The Great Commandment: Mark 12:30-31
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” The second is this, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.’

The Commissioning of the Disciples
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’
