First Congregational United Church of Christ

First Congregational United Church of Christ is:

◾A non-creedal, Christ-centered congregation. We believe that in Jesus Christ, we have found and experience the grace and love of God. We believe that the Bible is the testimony of how God has been at work in the world. And we believe that we are called to seek and discover God’s ways in community, seeking together the guidance of the Spirit.

◾Proudly the home of Dodger Preschool since 1973, and a charter member of ICKY’S youth center here in Fort Dodge. (For more information on Dodger Preschool call 955-6060.)

◾Blessed with an active Sunday school program for ages 3 – 12 and a growing youth group for grade 3 – 5, and 6 – 12.

◾Growing in our mission to serve the community of Fort Dodge. Already, we support the Lord’s Cupboard, D/SAOC, and Church World Service. More is coming soon!

◾A part of the United Church of Christ, a united and uniting denomination that was the first to ordain women in ministry, the first to ordain people LGBTQ for ministry, and was the first major denomination in the US to call for marriage equality. Committed to seeking justice in the name of Jesus Christ, the UCC always strives to listen to the voices of the least of these… and then to respond.
