Celebrating its twenty-sixth year, First Night Raleigh is North Carolina's largest New Year's Eve celebration. Tens of thousands of people flock to downtown Raleigh each December 31 for the family-friendly community celebration of art, presented by Artsplosure.

First Night Raleigh 2017 will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2016 from 2:00 pm until Midnight. Festival venues are located across approximately 20 blocks of downtown Raleigh! With over 100 performances and activities in nearly 35 venues, there is truly something for everyone.

First Night Raleigh is a presentation of Artsplosure. The first First Night Raleigh was held December 31, 1991 with more than 15,000 people attending First Night Raleigh 1992. Festival attendance has grown over the years, with a record breaking 80,000 revelers in downtown Raleigh for First Night Raleigh 2012.
