One quick way to gather a crowd is to blame the ills of the world on a scapegoat. Sadly, some churches have grown large by doing so.
Some blame the Poor. But our congregation has many poor people. Others prefer to blame the Rich. Our congregation has rich people too.
Frequently, the finger is pointed at Lawyers… Our church has plenty of those as well. The blame is often placed on Politicians… They’re here - the ones from your party, and from the opposition.
They might blame previous generations, or the up-and-coming ones. Either way, you’ll find them in our pews.
We don’t waste time on blame; we’re too busy celebrating the good in the world and working to serve people in need. If you are looking for a community of people who would rather join hands than point fingers, you’ll always be welcome here. We’ll save you a seat.
