First Words Speech Services, LLC was founded in the North Metropolitan Atlanta Area in August, 1999. We are a company that provides speech therapy and special instruction to children on the autism spectrum and children with complex communication disorders. It is our belief that a child’s ability to communicate is a vital part of his/her identity. At First Words Speech Services, LLC we have a true understanding of the family’s role in effective intervention. We value the richness of a child’s community and foster relationships with community agencies. We are dedicated to providing quality intervention services before and after a child’s first words. In addition, we work with Spanish-speaking service providers and translators to provide evaluation and intervention services to bilingual families.

We employ a highly-trained staff to provide evaluation and intervention utilizing activities that encourage moving, playing, and communicating in a variety of environments. We value our knowledge of the latest intervention strategies and strive for continuous improvement.
