Fit Oshkosh, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Established in July 2014, Fit’s mission is to increase the Racial Literacy of the residents in
Winnebago County, Wisconsin, as well as throughout the state and nation through education, training, advocacy and research.

Racial Literacy is a 21 st century skill that allows leading organizations to appropriately respond
to the increasing diversity in the communities they serve. Changes in the demographics of the
nation have highlighted how critically important it is that everyone gain the Racial Literacy skills
they need to participate fully in a healthy society. Everyone includes educators, social service professionals, leadership, parents, youth, faith communities, and the general public.

Examining the goals, actions, programs, services, and practices of organizations with an eye toward the future, requires an ability to recognize and explore embedded racialized meaning and impact. Fit Oshkosh is committed to addressing these challenges. We are confident that our consulting services and/or delivery of our highly-interactive workshops will open the door for new understanding, growth and productivity in your organization or community.
