Maintaining the tradition of quality and care all Flatland Ag, Inc..yellow onions are harvested with a two step mechanical method. The onions are first lifted and wind rowed from the soil. Then topped, harvested and loaded into trucks for packaging. At the packing shed the onions are cured, graded and packaged into 10 or 50 pound bags. From planting to packaging everything is done on site to ensure the very peak of freshness when you buy.
We are USDA ~ GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) with field operations & harvesting and post-harvest operations certified including a harmonized audit.
We are also a Certified Roadside Farm Market through North Carolina Farm Fresh.
We are members of NOA (National Onion Association) and North Carolina Vegetable Growers Association.
