Flavors of York is an annual upscale gala food tasting event. You are able to try some of York's best restaurants all under one roof. This is an age 21+ event. There is a cash bar, door prizes, raffle prizes and a 50/50.
Flavors of York benefits York’s 140 year-old Temple Beth Israel and its on-going “Doing Good for Goode™” program at a York City elementary school. Alexander D. Goode, for whom the school is named, was a Rabbi at Temple Beth Israel. He was one of the Four Chaplains who died during World War II when they gave up their life vests so others could survive after the UST Dorchester was torpedoed.
