Thomas Academy - NC Charter School

Thomas Academy is a North Carolina Public Charter School that opened in September 2013. We educate middle and high school students on a beautiful campus in Lake Waccamaw. Thomas Academy believes that personlized education, unique programs and opportunities and educating through a purposeful design can foster success among students that are not seeing success as a result of their efforts in the traditional setting. We offer small class sizes, accountability partnerships and a flexible master schedule that revolves around the student and not the system. Also unique to Thomas Academy is our academic calendar, with a school year being 215 days of instruction.
