Florida Chicken Expo

Tanya and Gayle combined their passions of chicken farming in July of 2016, out of a necessity of good, real-time answers to important poultry health questions.
As it turns out, there were many other poultry farmers with the same questions and frustrations.

They sought out experts in the fields of nutrition, diseases, animal husbandry and business, and have compiled that information in to an event that will debut in Deland, FL on February 4th, 2017.
Tanya is a wife and mother and has a BS in Psychology, is from a farming family and has had a career in hotel management for twenty years. She has done travel speaking in indigenous populations about alternative energy and food sourcing solutions, since 2008, and is a board member of the Native American Chamber of Commerce. Tanya has experience in breeding, laying flocks and poultry for meat consumption. She has been a chicken farmer since 2012.

Gayle is a wife and mother, and educated in cardiac nursing. She also comes from a farming farming family and is currently a caregiver. She has experience with poultry breeding, laying flocks and meat poultry for consumption. Her love of chickens dates back to early childhood, until the age of 14, at which the family farm dissolved. She started raising chickens, again, as an adult in 2010.
