Floyd County Historical Preservation Trust

Buildings being saved by the Trust include: The Ridgemont, the first hospital in Floyd, and now the site of the Floyd County Historical Society Museum. The Oxford Academy, an early Floyd County School house. The Phlegar farm, important site of early settlement, with one of the earliest remaining houses in the county. The Pine Creek Church, a wonderful Primitive Babtist Church with large graveyard that contains the graves of Revolutionary War soldiers from Floyd.
