Flying Tiger Aviation

Located in Bastrop, LA and founded in 1998 by Edwards Barham and Robert McCurdy, Flying Tiger Aviation is a National Agricultural Aviation Association recognized flight training school specializing in agricultural aerial application training in fixed wing, rotor wing, and unmanned aerial flight. We are the contracted aviation trainer for Louisiana Delta Community College and offer training for private and commercial ratings in fixed and rotor wing, instrument ratings, tail wheel endorsement, high performance, complex aircraft endorsements, and aerial applicator training for both seasoned pilots and enthusiasts with zero flight time looking for a new hobby or promising career opportunities. Students receive hands on training in and out of the classroom through our team of expert instructors, our own personal fleet, and our state of the art simulators. Students are eligible for federally backed student loans through Sallie Mae and dorms are located on campus to fulfill housing needs.
