My name is Ann Loyd and I have always enjoyed baking and cooking, basically anything in the kitchen. I have a beautiful little girl who was born November 8, 2012. Well the time was nearing to begin planning her 1st birthday party and I wanted it to be unforgettable, to the guests that is ;)
I began thinking about a theme, and decided that I wanted to have a monkey theme for my little monkey. I began thinking about what kind of cake I would have, and decided that the plain "grocery store" cake just wasn't going to cut it. Not only did I want something over the top, I wanted it to taste wonderful; so why not make it myself? So I started planning and creating, before I knew it I was sculpting a monkey out of sugar and it was so much fun! Since that moment I decided that I would continue to make tasty centerpieces for as many people as I could!
