Fort Edward Heritage Days

The hub and main venue for the festivities is the beautiful Yacht Basin on the Hudson River, owned and operated by the New York State Canal Corp., and property owned by the Village of Fort Edward located behind the Glens Falls National Bank in the Village of Fort Edward. Heritage Days is endorsed and generously supported by the Village and Town of Fort Edward, as well as its residents, local businesses and community organizations - it is a source of civic pride.
FESTA ~ Fort Edward Strategic Alliance, Inc. is a non-profit organization run by volunteers interested in encouraging the awareness of the culture, history and community spirit of Fort Edward. FESTA, Inc. was formed to plan, organize, publicize and conduct the Fort Edward Heritage Days Summer Celebration. FESTA, Inc. strives to celebrate, honor and foster knowledge and appreciation of Fort Edward's historic past. Their hope is to create a vision of Fort Edward as a viable, desirable tourism destination. To encourage, foster and stimulate awareness of local businesses and attractions. To stimulate, encourage and promote economic development opportunities in fort Edward.
