Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture

Part of the National Park system, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture was founded in 1977 as part of the newly formed Golden Gate National Recreation Area as a place for the community to come together for all things art, culture, and food -- visit one of the museums or galleries, host a festival or wedding, attend a class or conference, stroll along the water, fish from the piers, or enjoy a bite and cup of coffee at Greens, Goody Cafe, Cooks & Company or grab a drink at The Interval. Shop the Sunday farmers' market, and definitely check out the largest food truck gathering in the U.S.: Off the Grid, which happens on Fridays between April-October.
