Fossil Gate Farms, LLC. Approximately 100 horses are kept on 150 acres of immaculate pipe fenced pastures and paddocks, and there are 3 ponds on the beautiful, oak-covered property.

Fossil Gate is the home to Mr Yella Fella, this 2-time AQHA World Champion Halter Stallion, 2-time PHBA World Champion, AQHA Superior Halter Horse with 173.5 points, Congress Champion Amateur Aged Stallion. Mr Yella Fella was the leading sire of open point earners from 2003-2008 for PHBA. He is also a multiple AQHA and PHBA World Champion Sire. From 2005-2009, he was AQHA’s #1 leading sire of halter class winners in open and #1for point earning halter horses in open. From 2003-2013, Mr Yella Fella has continually stayed in the top 5 sires for halter horse winners.

Fossil Gate was home to Sock Broker, one of the top breeding stallions in the Paint Horse industry. Broker was the 1997, 1998 & 1999 APHA Leading Sire of Point Earners. In 2000, he was the only stallion to be on both the Leading Sires Lists (Halter & Performance). In 2001, 2002 and 2003, he was 2nd on the Halter Leading Sires List.

Fossil Gate Farms is also home to Im Tee Totally Cool, the AQHA 1998 World Champion Weanling Stallion, and the 1999 World Champion Yearling Stallion. Cool’s foals have earned over $82,000. He is a multiple World Champion and Reserve World Champion Sire for APHA, Pinto, PHBA, and AQHA. His foals are simply breath taking.

Fossil Gate Farms is also home to Image of Kid, AQHA World Champion and 2x Reserve World Champion, AQHA Congress Champion as well as being a World and Congress Champion Sire. Image of Kid is the sire of 2012 and 2013 Breeders Halter Futurity Open Weanling Filly. He is also the sire of AQHA’s 2013 Amateur World Champion and Open Reserve World Champion Weanling Filly.

Fossil Gate Farms standing our home bred AQHA Buckskin stallion FG A Tru Fella. He is the 2006 Reichert Celebration $50,000 Champion. FG A Tru Fella is an AQHA World Champion in Amateur and two time Reserve World Champion, amateur and open. He is also an ABRA World Champion. He is a multiple World and Reserve World Champion Sire with ABRA and PHBA.

Fossil Gate Farms newest stallion, Grand Slam Touchdown, is triple registered (AQHA, APHA, PHBA). He is a two time AQHA World Champion and a four time PHBA World Champion. Grand Slam, Touchdown is also an AQHA Congress Champion. We are very excited about the diversity he will bring to our program.
