Founded In Truth, FIT, is a group of Followers in Messiah, that have committed to a journey of discovering the depths, the truth, and the glory of our King

In Dec 2012, our group of families came together to dig deeper in our faith. All had a similar Christian background but felt there was more to understand. The journey immediately unlocked vast truths and our families began to embrace the Hebrew Roots of our faith. The struggle with shedding old mindsets brought us together. We have surrendered more of our lives to Yeshua HaMachiah (Jesus Christ) than ever before.

Today, our assembly is lead by Matthew VanderEls, who has proven himself very early to be an earnest student. We assemble together on the Sabbath Day and discuss the scriptures with the distinct intent of viewing the Word via the hebraic prospective. In doing so, learning hebraic idioms, terminology and even surrounding culture's lifestyle have become common practice.

We welcome you to come, visit, and partake of our endeavor to shed the traditions of men and submit to the ways of our King.


As of now, we meet on Saturdays at 11:00am (Except on the first weekend of each month) at St. John's United Methodist Church 130 Tom Hall st Fort Mill, SC. then begin our study as the children scurry off to Shabbat School. We tend to wrap up around 1pm, but the chatting often doesn't stop. We love to fellowship and talk about our Father. Come with a notebook and your bible…. oh… and an open mind.
