Fountain Head Country Club

We have one of the finest Donald Ross golf courses in the state of Maryland. It has often been referred to as a “Hidden Gem”. The course is defined by tree lined fairways and small undulating greens placing a premium on positioning and imagination. Jim Schouller, our PGA Head Professional has worked with state amateur champions, national senior champions, Division I men’s and ladies scholarship students and select touring professionals.

Our Professional Shop is the area's premier locale for golf apparel and equipment. We have been voted best 100 Golf Shops by Golf World and Best 100 International Platinum Golf Shop by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (2014, 2012, 2010).

Fountain Head also offers first-class fitness, swimming, and tennis facilities for the entire family. The fitness room is open during Club business hours and provides a combination of weights and cardiovascular machines creating a specialized gym. During the summer months we have a large swimming area complete with an adult pool and diving board, baby pool, lounge area, and snack bar. Our certified lifeguard staff is on duty during all times the pool is open. Join the swim team, register for swim lessons or attend a pool event. Fountain Head's tennis program features outstanding facilities and instructional programs to accommodate players of all abilities and ages from the middle of April through the end of September. There are always fun events planned at the clubhouse and many activities to keep you and your family busy throughout the year!

Fountain Head’s restaurant provides members with a fine dining experience. The highly-skilled culinary staff is led by Executive Chef Todd Reynolds with over 20 years’ experience. The club is famous for its seafood and perfectly-prepared meats and poultry. Lunch and dinner are served daily (except Mondays when the clubhouse is closed) and breakfast on weekends and holidays. Members and non-members can reserve the Ballroom for special events - personal or business. Customize a menu and accommodate up to 300 guests, perfect for weddings or smaller events like company seminars and training. Destiny Pike, our Banquet Coordinator will help you create the perfect event.
