We are located on sunny Galveston Island, Texas. We began building custom guitars to sell about 7 years ago. We like to be a little different than everyone else so we do things the way we want. We started building boutique style electric guitars and totally custom acoustics made per our clients' specs. We still do that and so much more. We have just completed our first prototypes of our new line of Nomex Tops steel string acoustic guitars. Previously, double top or laminated top steel string acoustic guitars have all been built one at a time, took months to complete and can cost around $10,000.00. Like all of our guitars, acoustic or electric, we seek out the latest technology available, use the finest parts available on Earth and hand select woods for our necks and bodies. The Nomex Tops are no exception. All are built with extreme scrutiny (we're tough inspectors) with focus on the quality of each build. All are made of select solid tone woods. All of our tops are layered using two pieces of solid Sitka Spruce and the Nomex. Due to this process combined with our own technology we are able to minimize the use of bracing normally required for the structural integrity of a standard top acoustic guitar. This allows the top to resonate much better.The notes ring with clarity and volume that cannot be achieved with a standard top acoustic. All of the Falcon Series Nomex Tops come standard with:
