Many things inspire me to create beautiful works of art, such as new jewelry techniques, paintings, tapestries, and many other inspired creations. One of the most interesting parts of an artists' story for me is to learn about what got them started; where did they come from, and how did that shape their soul into the artist they are today? So, I'll share my story with you. After the tragic loss of my 20 year old daughter i was desperate for substance to occupy my mind. working fulltime and spending the remainder of the day empty and lost.Having a coworker who madeautiful beaded jewelry i asked one day if she could fix a bracelet for me, she refused, yet showed me how to do it myself. I soon found myself making a house-full of wire-wrapped baubbles, my mind was occupied. A regular muse of mine is the spirit of my daughter, her name is Samantha and I have made peace with her passing, and still feel the love we share. That special love, paired with awesome music, laughter with amazing friends, great food and drink and an air of unequivocal desire for life constantly propel me forward, encouraging me to try new things, and strive to always stay in the light and love of life.
