Frederick Road Fridays

The original intent of the group of volunteers that started Frederick Road Fridays, was to help create a bond between the residents of Catonsville and the Merchants along Frederick Rd. Thereby, Improving the quality of life for area residents, by supporting the local business district. For the first 5 years this event was held on Egges Lane. This was intended to be a family oriented event, so no Alcoholic Beverages were sold. To add to to enjoyment, of the audience, a Beer Garden was created behind Jennings Cafe. This was a separate event that was completely hosted by Omar Jennings, his family and the staff from Jennings Cafe. This beer garden was well received and greatly contributed to the early success of Frederick Road Fridays.
Today Frederick Road Fridays continues on with Music at the Mews. Look for other Friday Night Music along Frederick Road in the future.
