Established in 1940, the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization supported by the city government, the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services and through generous donations from local citizens, businesses & groups like you. We continue to welcome your tax-deductible contributions today.
Fredericksburg Rescue is a member of the Rappahannock Emergency Medical Services Council (REMS), Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads (VAVRS) & the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services (VA OEMS).
All FRS members are VOLUNTEERS and receive no money for their service, dedication or time to our community.
Members range from:

- Construction workers to business owners
- Stay-at-home parents to retirees
- Police officers to firefighters
- Mechanics to engineers
- Government workers to administrators
- Military personal to educators
- And many, many more!
