French light Dressage

French Light Dressage offers classical training for horses and riders ranging from the correct classical starting of young dressage horses through Grand Prix and the classical airs.
Our home base is a privately owned Equestrian farm in Greenville, NY at the base of the Catskills 35 minutes from downtown Albany. The farm is owned by a practicing veterinarian who does personal checks on the horses twice daily. The stable manager is a lifetime horsewomen who takes detail oriented care of the horses and facility. There are no non training boarders and a studious environment for training is the daily norm.
The facility offers matted, fully bedded 12/12 stalls, indoor arena with state of the art footing and mirrors, full size dressage court coming in Spring, all day turnout in large grass paddocks with safe fencing(individual turnout option no extra charge), unlimited maintained trails with footing safe for outdoor training, and a beauty that is unique to upstate New York.
