In 1965, a New Orleans native by the name of Percy “Frenchy” Creuzot made his way to Houston. His new home wasn’t short of much, but there was one thing he missed -- the classic, Creole cooking he grew up on. It wasn’t long before Percy and his wife Sallie opened up a po-boy shop on Scott Street. Once they started serving perfectly seasoned fried chicken using family recipes straight from New Orleans, the rest was history. Decades later, we’ve become a hometown favorite for millions. Now with a full menu of homemade sides, our family still uses the same recipes that first brought Southern Louisiana cooking to Houston.
