Friends House

Open to all older people, Friends House is composed of and offers three interrelated programs: Independent Living apartments and houses, an Assisted Living facility, and a Medicare/Medi-cal certified Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers. But the most important thing it offers is peace of mind for its residents. They know that if their health care needs change over time, they’ll find the services and care they need without having to move.

Friends House is a not-for-profit organization, and so it is not obligated to generate profits for shareholders. Instead, profits are returned to the community in the form of capital improvements and other types of improvements that add to the quality of life for residents.
