Friends of the Dover Library

The Friends of the Dover Library raises funds to support and expand our town library's innovative programming.

The monies we raise cover special programs and services that expand and enrich the library’s regular budget. These “extras” include things like...

all children's and family programs (including Super Awesome Fun Time!)
all young adult programs
all adult programs
museum passes
business subscriptions
library materials
the toys and tools libraries
the wireless network
capital and technology purchases
In 2014-15, grants and gifts added more than 7% on top of the library's municipal budget.

In that same year, the library reinvigorated its family programming.

Attendance jumped by 170%!

In 2015-16, on the heels of the main floor's renovation, the Library team looks forward to doing the same for adults and young adults—continuing to innovate and expand what they offer.
