The South Lebanon Township Fire Department is responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery of fire, rescue, and life safety emergency services. Emergency services are delivered from four volunteer fire stations in the township.
Programs
The South Lebanon Township Fire Department consists of a partnership between Avon, Friendship, Hebron and Prescott Fire Companies. Working alongside the volunteer fire companies is a volunteer fire police unit. This partnership allows South Lebanon Township to continue the proud tradition of volunteerism within the community.
In 2014 the South Lebanon Township Fire Department responded to 410 calls for service.
Goals
The primary goals of the Fire Department are to:
•Reduce and prevent the loss of life and property damage
•Improve the quality of life for residents by providing public education and ongoing training for residents and firefighters
