Nadadores Swim School

I have been teaching swimming for 18 years and do it because it is my passion, not simply a way to fill my time. Education is a passion of mine, as I hold a Masters in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. Nothing gives me greater joy than watching children become strong, happy, confident swimmers.
I begin by teaching safety first. I teach them how to roll from their bellies to their backs and how to float for long periods of time.
I also teach them how to scale the walls of the pool to find safety and how to pull themselves out of the pool, if they were to reach a wall or stairs.

As the child is able to progress, I then move onto strokes and how to flip from their backs to their bellies and so on. In my years of teaching I have taught from ages 6 months-65 years young.
I have taught class sizes of as little as one on one, to eight on one, to coaching a swim team of 50 high schoolers for 4 years. I have found the best learning environment is two on one.
So, your lessons will only be with your son/daughter and one other child. This enables both children to learn from each other and encourage one another.

I also teach special needs children that are diagnosed with ailments such as Down’s syndrome, autism, ADHD, ADD, etc. I have a background in behavior and know what it takes to help a child focus and learn.
I take pride in saying that I can teach every child that steps into my pool.
