From The Ground Up Coffee House is located on Wisconsin Rapids historic West Grand Avenue, situated just two blocks west of the beautiful Wisconsin River.

Owners Bob and Kathleen Schultz invite you to stop in for a cup of freshly roasted, brewed coffee. Bob roasts our coffee on site 2-3 times a week. Our coffee is fresh ground just before brewing. Which means, you are served the freshest coffee available in Wisconsin Rapids.

Bob chooses highly graded Arabica coffee beans from various world regions, then fine roasts for the perfect batch of coffee. Each coffee has its own distinctive body, flavor and aroma. Ask Bob to show you our roasting process and describe the variety of coffees available.

From the Ground Up is a few blocks from the Wisconsin River, Ahdawagam Bicycle and Walking Trails, Rapids Mall and Mead Inn Hotel and Convention Center. You will find our atmosphere to be a welcoming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. The unique décor of the coffee house includes life-size Chicago Blue’s Brothers, 1969 VW Van, coffee mural painted by local artists, along with vintage coffee grinders, pots, tins and coffee signs.

Wireless Internet service is available for use with your personal device. We carry a line of Life Is Good© and coffee/tea related merchandise.
