Full Circle Yoga

Located near the corner of Stillwater Ave. and Forest Ave. in Orono, Full Circle Yoga was opened in 2002.

A 500 square foot space, the studio has a bamboo floor, stained glass window and skylights that fill the space with natural light. Classes accommodate up to 9 students.

Sandy Cyrus is the owner/instructor at Full Circle Yoga. She earned her 200 hour basic level certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in October, 2002.

She is also certified to teach prenatal yoga and has over 200 hours of advanced professional level training in meditation, pranayam, yoga for children, therapeutic yoga and Thai Yoga Massage. With a background in theatre and dance, she left a career in Marketing to return "full circle" to a life of creative expression and self-discovery.

Kripalu Yoga uses a three-stage approach to the practice of yoga, allowing for the gentle transition from a "willful" to a "surrendered" practice. Students are guided to move at their own pace. Kripalu style yoga develops the body, mind and spirit in a compassionate and non-judgmental way.
