Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark & Party Center, The-World’s-Only Carpet Skatepark is family owned and operated entertainment facility known for our unique brand of family fun, excellence in providing awesome birthday party experiences for our customers ages four through teen and staff members our adult customers continually compliment.

Fun Slides Carpet Skates is the invention that changed the way people play! Fun Slides were created in 2002 by Don (Smokey) Edwards of Penn Twp, PA one of the inventors of EZ Moves® Furniture Slides. The best way to describe “Fun Sliding” is like sliding with your socks on wood floors…but you can do it on carpet. Basically, they are smooth plastic ‘skates’ that are strapped under athletic shoes. The ‘gripper grooves’ on the bottom provide traction. Carpet Skating is a safer alternative to skating on ice or concrete yet very cool for kids (and adults!).

A safer yet thrilling alternative to skate boarding, inline and ice skating, carpet skating is fun for all ages. Unlike other sports that take lots of practice, carpet skating takes only minutes until you are confidently sliding around. Once you get the hang of it, you can become an advanced skater with just a couple of days of practice. All first time skaters are assigned a skate instructor until they are comfortable to skate on their own. We also use our own EZ Moves Furniture Slides as “Butt Slides” for the young beginner or those who wish to sit and slide instead of stand.

We have birthday party packages for ages 4-teen. We also host events for youth groups, scouts, schools, etc. Daylight hours are available during the school year for field trips.Charitable organizations and schools can earn $2500 or more in just two hours by hosting a FUNraising event at Fun Slides Pittsburgh!
