Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church strives to be a caring and Christ-centered community of faith, where we are inspired by the Holy Spirit to search the heart for God, seek the mind of Christ, and serve others in His name, that we might glorify our Lord.

Our diverse congregation provides rich opportunities to care, search, seek and serve our members "Within our walls" and to reach "Beyond our walls" to our community, nation and world.

The GPC family is a vibrant congregation of over 800 members of different backgrounds, cultures, ages, and occupations, characteristic of the DC area. This diversity creates a fertile ground for ministry as we unite as one family of God to worship and serve our Lord. Our myriad gifts and talents allow lay leadership to initiate/implement ministries, relying on our pastors to provide spiritual direction and vision, and to be a resource for ministry.

Lay Leadership
