Gakwiyo Provisions

Gakwiyo Provisions was started in 2010 in order to prepare homemade products to be given to the members of the Cayuga Indian Nation. The word Gakwiyo means “Good Food”. Preserving food has been a Cayuga tradition for centuries past and today the tradition continues!

Produce grown on our historic reservation at Gakwiyo Garden is brought fresh to our kitchen daily where it is preserved one jar at a time. These unique and interesting products are created to bring enjoyment to your table and are now available to the public as well, both on-line and at area farmer’s markets, wineries and specialty stores.
