Barbara Warren has built a reputation for the most natural, breathtaking and one-of-a-kind unique floral designs that you will see. Our business is providing creative, consultative, personal floral design services that fit your needs. Our focus is on the type of design you want – your vision – not a canned design selected out of a catalog. We make your vision work.

THE ARTIST
Barbara Warren began her career as a floral designer in 1973 working with a local florist. She soon realized that she wanted to expand her knowledge and began to study at IUPUI with renowned floral designer Bill Hall. It was here that she refined the mechanics and style of her design, learning to use color more creatively, and began to incorporate some of the unique, creative styles that have become her trademark.

In 1980 Barbara continued her education at Chicago’s School of American Floral Arts, where she further developed the use of texture, size, and scale in her designs. In 1982 she was named “Midwest Designer of the Year” in a competition that encompassed five states. Her work was judged number one by experts from the American Institute of Floral Design in four categories: Bridal, Christmas, Asian, and Funeral. This was the pivotal point in her career.

During the early 1990s Barbara began managing and buying for Habig’s Garden Cottage and while there consistently won, or placed, in the annual “Orchard in Bloom” design competition, highlighting the use of nature in her designs, at Holiday Park.

Finally, in the late 1990s Barbara’s uniquely beautiful floral designs were so well known that she began working on her own to supply her clients with award winning floral designs. She works closely with suppliers to promote new materials and highlight new design trends. Barbara has also had the wonderful opportunity to partner with some of central Indiana’s best designers in other areas such as cakes and wedding apparel.
