Gastroenterology of West Central Ohio

Dr. Taja is a board certified gastroenterologist who specializes in issues of the digestive system. He has been taking care of the gastrointestinal needs of his patients in Lima since 2004. Dr. Taja has over 30 years experience and has worked in a variety of facilities to perfect his knowledge. He completed his residency at Cook County hospital in Chicago, Illinois where he went on to work in private practice there for several years. On his way to his current home in Lima, Ohio Dr. Taja also worked in private practice in Hammond, Indiana and Clinton, Iowa. Dr. Taja is a respected member of the Lima community where he lives with his wife and four wonderful children. He has privileges at Lima Memorial Health Systems, St. Rita’s Medical Center here in Lima as well as Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. He is caring and compassionate and treats you from your initial consultation to all follow up visits.
